For her directorial debut, Shrimati Padmavati is presenting a piece of epic Indian theater – the first part of The Ramayana. With 10 hours to curtain, the lines between performance and real life are rapidly blurring. The action on stage is not half as exciting as the drama backstage. Inspired by Michael Frayn’s Noises Off.
